Every weekday morning, at least 500 people arrive at the guarded terminal owned by EG&G on the northwest side of McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here they board one of a small fleet of unmarked Boeing 737-200s. Using three digit numbers prefixed by the word "Janet" as their callsigns, the 737s fly off North every half hour.

Their destination is Groom Lake, an installation so secret, its existence is denied by the government agencies and contractors that have connections there. By late 1955, the facility had been completed for flight testing of Lockheed's U-2 spyplane. Since that time, Groom Lake has undergone vast expansion, catering to the needs of testing the most advanced aircraft projects in the world. Forty-four years after it was created, Groom Lake has hosted flight testing of the aforementioned Lockheed U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 stealth fighter, Northrop's B-2 stealth bomber, the mysterious Aurora Project, and possibly even alien spacecraft.

The Groom Lake facility has been known by many names since its construction. In fact, the secret base was formally named Watertown Strip, after the town in upstate New York where CIA director Allen Dulles was born. In June 1958, it was officially designated Area 51 by the Atomic Energy Commission. The adjacent AEC proving grounds became known as the Nevada Test Site and divided into such numbered areas. The base is now known worldwide as "Area 51" (thanks to numerous mentions in Hollywood shows and movies).

What do you know about it? What would you like to know? Today is the day you will find out! For better or for worse, you will discover the truth! Area 51 has many large hangers. These hangers are probably where the Top Secret Black Book Projects are located and an adventure awaits our team in each one.

The Entrance:

Welcome to the unbelievable. You have approached a restricted area. WARNING! Use of Deadly force Authorized! As your guests approach the restricted area they will inquire what is behind the fence. Chain link fence and wire keep them from entering. The gate is locked. There are RESTRICTED AREA and Warning signs heralding the dangers that lie within. Welcome to AREA 51! The revolving warning lights go off, reflecting off of the fence! The doors open and a cloud of steam rises up from beyond the door. The Camo guards will intimidate your team to follow the rules as they enter. Enter at your own risk and don't believe your eyes. Outrageously colored spandex archways line the inside of the entrance to the ballroom at 45-degree angles to the doors. Go one way down a tunnel of arching fabric or the other into a tower of light.

The Perimeter:

The room's perimeter consists of several vignettes – each hanger - that will twist the mind and reshape the psyche. Your guests will say, "Did I really see that?" Just inside a 35ft. long Black Stealth Helicopter sits poised for action. The blades are still rotating and the lights are on; ready for a top-secret test flight. Towers of light in a half moon shape create a perfect backdrop for a performance stage for DJ Niekko and the Alien to mesmerize the Party Goers. Futuristic Archways surround the cloaking technology grid. Fun for invisible dancing. On either side of the room are human fueling stations of clear acrylic bars supported by white columns lighted from within in green and blue colors.

The back bar stands ten foot high and also supported with white columns lighted from within. Decorating the bar are vials of moving matter surrounded by a protective ring of neon. In a moment you discover the truth. The Autopsy is almost complete. Welcome to the lab. The lab counter is littered with scientific research materials, as an alien lies open on the operating table for scientists' work and study.

The stage is backed by 120 feet of fiber optic drape dancing with light and flanked by four spandex vortex funnels filled with unearthly light! The stage is dressed with 5 spandex arches in white and more spandex in funnels and star shapes.

The buffets are an inspired flying saucer design consisting of neon glow tops spandex and glass block. This will truly be a night to loose sleep over!

The Main Stage:

Inside is transformed into an amazing display for Lights and Energy. A fiber optic curtain plays backdrop for the stage constantly changing color throughout the night. Ice Needles flank each side of the stage light in an array of vivid colors. Spandex Arches take this look out of this world.
